I come from a varied background involving Arts and Humanities, Philosophy, Psychology, Biology, and Media Studies. I have tutored several individuals with anxiety, tailoring lessons and resources to suit their specific needs and learning styles. I have been giving lessons for several years, and have be an avid self-taught learner for a long time.

My tutoring is based around a tailored approach to each and every student. I mainly focus on KS3 students, especially those with anxiety who find it difficult to attend school — as a result I also offer sessions during the day to replicate the experience of being at school. Each child is unique and it’s not just about test results for me, although they are important, I include out-of-syllabus material in order to inspire an interest in diverse subjects as well as helping to mould a well-rounded individual.

I understand first-hand that schedules need to be flexible in order to accommodate those with mental health issues, in particular anxiety. If lessons need to be swapped around or cancelled last minute I am very accommodating. Tutoring is about the student, and it often takes time to settle into a routine, so feel free so try out several different time slots to find the one that suits you.
