About Haram
Hello! Wondering about who I am?
I hold a Health Sciences and Biochemistry Bachelor's, and have extensive knowledge on tips and tricks for absorbing science and math materials like a sponge.
I have 3+ years of experience in teaching both in academic and non-academic settings. This enabled me to grow as an instructor using skills I obtained from both fields, using proved teaching methods from personal experience and the scientific community.
I teach because of my passion, and as a student who struggled to grasp certain concepts, I know the feeling of frustration in classrooms or exams. I will help you overcome these obstacles using tested-and-proved methods, and achieve that dream grade.

I believe in EVIDENCE-BASED TUTORING, that is, teaching with a strict focus on the student and methods that have been proved to be productive, like flashcards, explaining with steps, and clear visual diagrams.
What I do NOT believe in are mountains of autonomous homework or "learning styles". Instead, there are scientific and personal evidences of what works in academic settings and what doesn't.
This does NOT mean that fun is not allowed in my classroom. In fact, in my experience, using themes and making personal connections to the lessons is the best way to learn.
My classes are geared towards beginners to intermediate students for the subjects I teach. This includes but is not limited to: Elementary, High school, and University students.
When you sign up for my lesson, we will have a short meet-and-greet to discuss your goals, and tailor lesson plans together to meet those goals. You may request a free introductory tutoring session to see if my teaching style is for you.*
