I am a professional translator and interpreter in the English and German languages. I have TEFL certification for teaching English and have been teaching Spanish to foreigners residing in Chile for 2 years. I have taught in private classes and in language institutes in Chile and Brazil.

Are you a foreigner living in Chile and although you can communicate pretty well in 1 to 1 conversations you still struggle to understand native people talking in groups?
My classes include general aspects of Spanish, such as vocabulary and grammar, with a special focus on the dialect and culture of Chile. In each class we exercise the skills of listening comprehension and oral expression, in addition to the comprehension and writing of texts although the latter is mostly seen through homework and checked in classes. The objective of my classes is that students get to communicate in 1 to 1 conversations as well as with groups of native speakers in daily situations and at work.
