About Haley
Hello! My name is Haley, and I am a Victoria Junior College graduate with experience teaching Primary and Secondary English through both private tutoring and a student care center. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their English skills while making learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
My lessons are well-prepared, patient, and encouraging, with a focus on helping students develop a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, composition writing, and oral communication. My goal is not only to help students improve their academic performance but also to foster confidence and a genuine interest in learning.

Lessons may cover topics such as grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, composition writing, editing, oral communication, and exam strategies, depending on the student's needs. I guide students through worked examples and targeted practice before encouraging them to apply what they have learned independently, providing personalized feedback throughout the lesson.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson begins with a review of previously learned concepts, followed by new topics and guided practice to reinforce understanding and build confidence.
My lessons are suitable for Primary 1 to Secondary 4 students following the Singapore MOE English curriculum. Whether your child needs help strengthening their language foundation, improving writing and comprehension skills, or preparing for school assessments, I look forward to helping them achieve their goals.
