About Clara
I am the most enthusiastic teacher of Spanish that you will never meet :-)
I love my homeland, Spain and I really love teaching my students my mother tongue and showing them interesting things about Spanish and Valencian culture. Teaching Spanish is my passion.
I hold a Degree in Spanish language and literature (Licenciatura en Filología Hispánica) and the teaching competence certificate from Spain (CAP). I am certified too to teach Spanish in the UK from Primary School to A Levels (Qualified Teacher Status for England and Wales) and I have experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language both in United Kingdom and in Spain. I am also certified by Instituto Cervantes to teach Spanish as a foreign language to adults and I am a DELE (Cervantes Institute certificate) accredited examiner . I have a strong background and excellent motivation and dynamism. I also have the desire to keep learning a little more about languages teaching each day.
My aim is to enable my students to communicate in a natural and fluent way in Spanish. Speaking fluently is what we all want when we decided to learn a foreign language and this will be our "target". Without neglecting the study of grammar, you will learn Spanish by using the Target language all the time, using live and real situations. Moreover, if you are not far fromValencia and you're happy to take my in-class lessons, we will make hundreds of outdoors and indoors cultural activities using Spanish as a working language.
My methodology is creative and fun and is focused on the development of oral proficiency in Spanish. You will enjoy learning your Spanish. I always try to choose pleasant topics which relate to current social and cultural factors that make lessons more enjoyable and interesting for my students
