About Suman

Hi, I'm Suman, a qualified Mathematics tutor with an M.Sc. and B.Ed. and over 5 years of teaching experience. I currently teach Australian Curriculum Maths to students in Years 3–10 through engaging online lessons.
I also support students preparing for NAPLAN and NSW Selective High School Placement Test Maths, helping them strengthen problem-solving, reasoning, and mathematical confidence.
My lessons are personalised to each student's learning style and focus on building strong fundamentals through step-by-step explanations, interactive practice, worksheets, and real-world examples. Whether your child needs help catching up, improving grades, or preparing for important assessments, I provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

About the lesson

My lessons are fully interactive using a shared online whiteboard, where students can write, solve questions, and work alongside me in real time. This hands-on approach keeps students engaged and helps me identify and correct mistakes instantly.

Each lesson includes:
• Step-by-step explanations using an interactive online whiteboard
• Students actively solve questions with me during the lesson
• Instant feedback and error correction
• Practice worksheets
• Regular doubt-clearing throughout the lesson
• Weekly assessments to monitor progress
• Homework support, revision, and exam preparation

I teach Australian Curriculum Maths for Years 3–8, including NAPLAN and NSW Selective High School Placement Test preparation. My focus is on building strong mathematical foundations, problem-solving skills, and confidence rather than simply completing the syllabus. Parents receive regular updates on their child's progress.
