About Ammar
I am a second-year Electrical Engineering student at Cardiff University, where mathematics is central to my degree. I achieved A in Mathematics at A-level, alongside A* in Physics and A* in Chemistry, giving me a strong and well-rounded scientific background.
Before university, I worked as a teaching assistant at A-level and tutored GCSE students in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, so I understand what students find difficult and how to explain concepts in a way that actually sticks.
Outside of my studies, I am an active member of Cardiff University's Formula Student and Rocketry teams, and I also volunteer tutoring robotics to high school students.
I am patient, structured and genuinely passionate about helping students build confidence in subjects that can feel overwhelming at first. Whether you are aiming to improve your grade, catch up on missed content, or stretch for the top marks, I am here to help you get there.

My lessons follow a concept-first approach. We make sure you truly understand the why behind the mathematics before moving into structured practice. Each session runs for 60 minutes and is tailored to your individual needs, whether you are building foundations at GCSE or tackling more demanding A-level content.
I have a strong familiarity with CIE and International A-level syllabuses, as well as the ability to adapt to AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC. My lessons are delivered entirely online, using interactive tools so the experience feels engaging and collaborative rather than passive.
These sessions are suitable for GCSE students aged 14–16 and A-level students aged 16–18 who want to build genuine understanding, improve their grades, or gain confidence ahead of exams.
