About Alison
Hi, I'm Alison! I'm a final year undergraduate student in Biological Anthropology. This is the study of human biological and behavioural sciences through the lens of evolution! In other words, I study: - cell biology - ecology - evolution - genetics - anatomy + physiology - osteology (bones) - human growth + development I'm also a research assistant in an osteology lab which involves cleaning and gluing together a lot of very old human bone fragments dating back almost 1000 years! The best part of this job is being able to identify who these people were and how they lived simply by examining their bones. When I'm not in class or at the lab, I'm writing my thesis specialising in Neuroanthropology which is a mix of neuroscience and anthropology. I chose this research topic because brains are incredible!

Our classes use a wide range of materials and resources (study guides, PDF, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Quizlet, Kahoot etc.) Classes usually last 1 hour. I have over 9 years' experience as a teacher (face to face and online). My lessons are great for anyone studying for their GCSE Biology exam in Year 10 or Year 11. We follow the AQA GCSE Biology Syllabus.
