About Rosalie
I have an extensive experience as a French tutor. Currently based between Brighton/London I work on the side as a screenwriter, filmmaker and translator. I love French but as a general matter I love all languages. French is my mother tongue and I also speak English, Spanish, Italian.

A lesson is 1 hour. EXPERIENCE: 7 years with tutoring agencies + 'direct students' from various backgrounds. LEVEL: from the 8 YEARS OLD to ADULTS CHILDREN 8-13: Exercises KS2-KS3 French Grammar workbook, read short stories. My students 11-13 year old are reading and studying Harry Potter in French. Then they can write their own 'short stories' in French. TEENAGERS-GCSE- A Level: topics for the entry exams or GCSE + material in reference with the topic. For Baccalaureate (A Level) the lesson is sometimes based: articles, poems, funny texts, books & philosophical essays. ADULTS: From complete beginners to advanced - conversation. Depending on their needs/level I create a tuition about specific topics: travelling to France, moving to France, job search & work related subjects: marketing, finance, real estate...etc WHAT MATTERS: I believe 'the enthusiasm' is a real game changer in "The students ' journey" in learning French. Giving them 'autonomy': they're happy and proud to create their own sentences and do small conversations. FUNNY: Did you know we have 70% in common between French & English? The two cultures share so many anecdotes, legends and history that's it's really interesting and exciting! MOTIVATION: I don't give you fish! I teach you how to fish!
