Hi! My name is Dave, and I’m a native French speaker from Québec. I’m a musician, writer and high school music teacher, and I love helping people fall in love with the French language. In my classes, I focus on real-life conversation, clear structure, and authentic expressions you’ll actually use. I’m patient, attentive, and I adapt to your rhythm, whether you’re a total beginner or want to refine your accent and vocabulary. My online French lessons are practical, structured, and fully personalized to your goals (travel, work, school, or everyday conversation). We build confidence step by step, with clear explanations and lots of speaking practice at your pace.
Typical lesson structure (60 minutes)
5 min: check-in + goal of the lesson
10 min: review (vocabulary/grammar/common mistakes)
20 min: new focus (vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation)
20 min: guided practice (role-plays, dialogues, listening, short reading)
5 min: feedback + optional mini homework plan
