About Mays

Passionate about teaching French as a Foreign Language for ten years, I have worked abroad and in France.
In the Middle East, in partnership with the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie and several universities (Lebanese and Syrian), I have trained:
- Master students (sciences, architecture, town planning) who have obtained a double diploma (Franco-Syrian ). Some students went to work in France and stayed there.
- Children, adolescents, adults with different learning objectives: work or settlement in France, studies in French.

In partnership with the French Embassy, I created a booklet to learn French, containing various course materials, specific to the management of industrial and environmental risks.

In France, I worked for the Alliance Française of Bordeaux, the Bordeaux Montaigne University (course and research in language didactics) and several language schools in Montpellier where I currently live.

About the lesson

Graduate professor with 10 years of experience: face-to-face or videoconferencing (Webcam).

I offer courses of French as a foreign language:
- all levels (full beginner, beginner, intermediate, advanced)
- General French: comprehension and oral and written expression, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, French culture
- Professional French, Specific French, Academic French, Exam Preparation (DELF, DALF, TCF)
- Workshops of: conversation, phonetic correction
- Etc ...

I create all the courses that I offer to my learners so that they are perfectly adapted to their needs , profiles and interests. During the lessons, I use authentic documents (of everyday life) : videos (Youtube, clips, advertisements, program excerpts, film clips, etc.), audio documents (songs, radio broadcasts, podcasts , Etc.), press articles, tourist guide extracts, brochures, etc. To reinforce what the student have learnt, I transmit after the lesson vocabulary sheets, grammar exercises and other documents necessary for autonomous learning.

My courses are based on patience, encouragement, benevolence and above all on a methodical progression. Having learned foreign languages (English, Arabic and Spanish), I understand the efforts required to learn a foreign language.
