Bonjour mes amies!
Je m'appelle Sally et je pourrais être ta nouvelle tutrice de Français!
I am a master's student with a minor in French. I am passionate about learning languages! and hope to instil this curiosity in you too. I have over two years of experience giving French lessons on Superprof and achieved a C1 level at the Alliance Française language school in Nice in 2024.
Mon expérience:
I have previously taught French to second-level students from 1st to 5th year as well as adult beginner lessons. I aim to break down the learning barriers students may face, help them unlock their linguistic potential, and achieve their desired grades.
Learning a language not only improves our attention span and focus but is also scientifically proven to boost academic performance across all subjects.
The student-led approach:
As a former student and practising educator, I can relate to the challenges students may face and aim to adapt our lessons according to the student's learning style, to give them the optimal learning experience.

Learning a new language is no picnic. It takes a lot of effort to rewire our brains with a new syntax! However, the process is simple, let me show you!
My goal is to provide lessons that are enjoyable and adapted to the learner's needs and learning style to optimise their experience.
The linguistic approach:
I take a three-pronged approach:
1. Translation - into English, to develop knowledge of the language
2. Recall - composing sentences in French, to enhance understanding
3. Audio/ oral - training the ear, to process the new language
