About Monique's Music

Have you always dreamed of learning to play an instrument, but never quite had the opportunity? Or perhaps you played when you were younger and would love to pick it up again?

That’s where Monique’s Music comes in.

I specialise in teaching adult learners online, offering lessons in flute, saxophone and clarinet. My goal is to help you finally embark on the musical journey you’ve always wanted to take — whether you’re starting from scratch, returning to an instrument after many years, or simply looking to improve your skills.

I particularly love teaching mature-aged students because they have a genuine desire to learn. They bring their own experiences, interests and goals to every lesson, and I love getting to know each student and discovering what makes them tick.

No two students are the same. Some people love having structure and clear goals, while others prefer more freedom to explore. You might want to focus on technique, music theory, preparing for an exam, or simply learn how to play music that you enjoy.

My approach is to meet you where you are and tailor lessons around your individual goals, interests and learning style.

Most importantly, I want you to enjoy making music. It’s never too late to start learning an instrument!

About the lesson

My mission at Monique’s Music is to connect with adult learners who always dreamt of learning to play music and helping them to embark on that journey. Therefore, Monique's Music was created, offering online music lessons and tuition to adult learners in flute, saxophone and clarinet.

I love teaching mature-aged students as they have a strong desire to learn. They are present with me in each and every lesson and I can connect with them on a different level. Each student is very different, some wanting structure, others freedom, specific technique, music theory or simply the skills to play something 'fun'. The uniqueness of each student and finding out how they tick is what I thrive on.
