About Phil

I have worked in education for 12 years and have been a qualified teacher for the past 8 years. During that time I have supported thousands of students in their education as well getting to experience several responsibilities from training new teachers to developing programs of learning using the best educational research. Through tutoring, I have seen the impact that one to one support can make and decided this year I would make it my full time occupation!

About the lesson

Every lesson is bespoke to your learning goals. I encourage students to book a free consultation so we can discuss your strengths and areas for improvement and put together a plan to support you. With online tutoring, I have found that you get all the benefits of tutoring face to face with the added advantage of having a range of learning tools to help maximise your progress. The idea length for a lesson is one hour and I have supported students with English at both KS3 and KS4 as well as helping students prepare for the 11+.
