About Jessica
Mrs. Jessica Alily’s expertise stems from nearly a decade and half of experience in the field
of education psychology, teaching in specialised sectors involving English and Mathematics, supervisory education and examination analysis, markings and structuring, as well as
research methodology. Having started out initially as Branch Supervisor at the international
courier company DHL International, she later joined the National Examination Council in 2006
as a Supervising Examiner, rising quickly to the post of Examination Officer in 2008 and finally
to Executive External Examination Officer by 2012. She was then headhunted in 2013 by the
South African research facility, Vanimax Research Institute (VRI) as a Research-Specialist for
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics)-Curriculum structuring for
high schools and tertiary education in line with the Department of Education’s transformational
programme for STEAM education. She concluded that task at VRI in 2016 and was thereafter
headhunted as a Consultant and Costumer Research Executive at a non-profit organisation, Love World Incorporated between 2018 and 2020. The coronavirus pandemic disrupted her
work at the organisation and in 2021 she opted to work offsite on a part time basis as an
International Examiner and Instructor for an online education invigilation study group, FOCUS.edu (Faculty for Open-Course & Universal Studies.edu). Her work has taken her to several countries in Europe and Africa, including the UK, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, South Africa, and the Republic of Benin. Jessica is a leader with a positive
attitude, driven to achieving results through innovative and creative processes that remain true
to the goals of an organisation.

I employ a motherly approach to mentoring and teaching my students, making sure they completely understand what they're being taught without the pressure that often comes with learning something new.
I am patient and more than willing to re-approach given topics multiple times to ensure my student truly grasps it before moving forwarding to next one.
