About Naomi
I have worked both with a tutoring company and privately in the past, teaching English and Maths. I have also voluntarily taught English for beginners and so can offer additional support for those for whom English is not a native language. I received two grade 9s (A**) in my English language and literature exams at GCSE. I have taught online multiple times.

Each class will consist of going through a worksheet which I have prepared, which can be completed virtually. Students will focus on the fundamental skills of Speaking, Reading and Writing, with a section for each skill designated in the lesson plan. For example, a literature lesson might involve reading a poem together, working through the vocabulary and then focusing on identifying useful language techniques and describing their effect. All lessons will be student-focused, allowing students to reach their full potential by engaging with the material. Students will also be given homework to consolidate their learning.
I know that many students are worried about the current situation with COVID-19 and how it may impact their learning. This is why this summer I want to offer a crash course in English language and Literature GCSE, which will help learners achieve their best.
I will be offering six weeks of lessons for £50. These lessons should cover the reading and analysis section of the GCSE, as well as the writing tasks. Whatever level you are working towards, whether you are a native English speaker or not, these lessons should boost you towards it!
