About Yann

My top skills as a French language coach and teacher are that I am trilingual (French, English, Spanish) which will help facilitate guiding you through your learning if you're a beginner or have a doubt, I am a very patient person as well as someone who will help motivating you to keep going forward.

I graduated with a master’s degree in French didactics in 2019 from the University of Rennes 2. Since then, I’ve worked in the Alliance Française of Lima (Peru) as well as in a private school there with students from 10 to 70 years old.
In 2020, alongside with my job, I also decided to become a self-employed private teacher. Since then, I helped 25+ students feeling more confident with the French language to reach their goals.

About the lesson

► The concept ◄
Learn French in a safe environment where you will not feel judged while having a good time!

► Organization ◄
We’ll schedule a call to get to know each other, identify your level and discuss your goals. It is also necessary for me to know the reason(s) why you are interested in French learning so I can accompany you the best way possible towards your objectives. For the same reason, it is important for me knowing what are the things you like (hobbies, habits, preferences…) in order to create the best and most engaging content for you.

We will use Zoom for our sessions together and you will be given access to a Google Classroom in which you will find all the documents we work with, homework, as well as some additional documents useful for your progress (books, songs…). This will enable you to keep track of our lessons and conversations.

► Available options ◄
• Regular classes (from beginners to advanced)
Description: with those classes, we start/keep discovering the French language following the steps of a specific method (with a textbook and an activity book) or we work with some other type of material based on the situation.

• Conversational classes (possible from an A2 level)
Description: the objective is to focus on speaking and fluency rather than grammar. But if necessary or requested, some grammar can also be added (Those classes are at a lower cost).
