About Arooba
Hi, I'm a chemistry graduate with a genuine passion for science and for teaching it. I hold a bachelor's degree in chemistry, covering analytical, physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry, and I'm currently completing a Master's degree in environmental informatics and climate change, which adds an extra layer of scientific depth to how I explain concepts. What draws me to tutoring is simple: I love the moment a concept finally clicks for a student, when something that felt confusing suddenly makes sense.
I've been tutoring since my undergraduate years, starting with one-on-one home tutoring and going on to teach in three different school and college settings, including a class of over 80 students during an internship at a government college. That experience taught me how to explain the same idea in several different ways until it lands, whether I'm working with one student or a full classroom. My teaching approach adapts to each student rather than following one fixed method. I break concepts into clear, manageable steps, use real-world examples to make abstract ideas concrete, and rely on diagrams and visuals wherever they help, always backed by practice problems to confirm understanding before moving forward. Lesson length is flexible and tailored to what each student actually needs, whether that's a focused 30-minute review session or a longer, deeper dive into a difficult topic.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, covering analytical, physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry, and also teach biology and biochemistry. I've been tutoring since my undergraduate years, including one-on-one home tutoring and teaching in three different school and college settings, one of which involved a class of over 80 students during an internship at a government college.
