About Korel
After graduating from the Bass Guitar department at the Modern Music Academy, I was accepted to the Music Department of Istanbul Bilgi University with a 100% scholarship (Special Talent Scholarship). After graduating, I worked in a studio (Kokoro Recording) that mainly hosts analog equipment in Napoli, Italy, by recording, mixing and playing the Bass Guitar. While there, I had the chance to work with one of the most important Mastering Engineers in the country, who is also an academy instructor. Currently, I continue my studies in Istanbul, in addition to being a studio and stage musician and instructor. Along with the projects in Napoli and Istanbul, I played Bass Guitar in over 150 officially published works (which you can find at Spotify, Apple Music etc.) and contributed to over 250 works in stages such as Recording Engineering/Assistant, Mixing, Mastering.

(Be sure to watch the demo video below. 01:08 for English) Hi, I'm Korel. I have been playing bass for over 17 years. Actually, I'm from Europe and I'm "the leader educator" at Superprof in the country that I'm in right now. I'm excited to meet more people from Superprof U.S. too. I had the experience of teaching hundreds of people from 19 countries and 59 cities. From the USA to the UK, Germany to Switzerland, Belgium to the Netherlands, Ireland to Sweden, Cyprus to Norway, Turkey to Chile, Canada to Romania, Macedonia to UAE, Denmark and Spain to China. I use lossless high-end audio equipment to provide the best audio quality and 2 cameras 4K and 1080p for teaching. You just need standard headphones and amp or audio interface. Those are pretty enough to hear every detail. Lessons are not limited to 1 hour. We'll continue as our subject has done. I also started to play guitar when I'm 11 and keyboard and am able to demonstrate and support music theory when I teach. In addition to applying music theory, it's about understanding it, listening to it, practicing it, and most importantly, applying it. And to analyze and hear any music you like to make sense. From beginner to professional. If you are stuck with your progress, I am willing and welcome to share new ideas and show different approaches from more than 15 years of experience. Or if you are just curious. Let us keep in touch. Lessons are dependent according to you and your requests, but main topics are like the fundamentals of Bass Guitar, music theory, any song that you want to learn, repertoire studies, bass techniques (slap, tapping, 3 and 4 finger playing, etc.), scales and arpeggios, popular riffs, walking bass, style, groove, improvisation, ear, note reading, accompaniment, muted grooves, amps, effects, stage, recording via computer etc. We can work through the issues in detail. +I've huge library. I'll support our meetings with many priceless books. Just the value of materials that used in meetings more than lesson fee. +We are able to record meetings and you can watch again whenever you want. Or just to remember a detail. +You can also ask any question, any time via mail or WhatsApp. +besides that topics, we can also talk about advanced music theory, orchestration, arrangement, jazz composition, mix & mastering, music production, music business, physics of sound, keyboard & guitar harmony.
Reviews
All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Korel.
Perfect! Very good with technology of the remote learning experience. Korel is able to easily provide visual and audio examples on screen while teaching. It was just my first lesson, but Korel has a nice balance between theory and practicality. Korel took time to learn about me and my goals before the lesson which sped up the process. Korel provides lots of supplemental audio and text files and even includes a recording of the lesson itself.
