It is not only for competing; it is more about knowing. I AM A 1690 RATED PLAYER. I HAVE BEEN PLAYING CHESS SINCE I WAS A CHILD. I KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO GO FROM KNOWING NOTHING TO KNOWING SOMETHING. CHESS DID CHANGE SOMETHING IN ME, AND MY STUDENTS WILL FIND GREAT CHANGE IN THEIR LIVES.
