About Sofia
I aim to bridge new, beginner musicians to the art of appreciating music from a listening and playing perspective. I am in my 4th year of college and I am working towards a degree in Musicology—the study of how music exists in culture- with a minor in jazz studies. Previously, I worked as a Writing tutor and loved the interactive and collaborative nature of one-on-one education. Music is my area of expertise and pursuing music appreciation with new students will be a fruitful achievement for the both of us!

I offer lessons to children, teens, and adults who are new to guitar or learning music! As a college student myself, low prices are hard to come by, especially when you're paying for education and knowledge; I offer low rates for lessons $25/30 minutes or $45/1 hour. I offer virtual online lessons or I can travel to you in the greater areas of Thurston County during Summer months and Whatcom county during the school year!
