About the lesson

I adjust my teaching to each person, focusing on their needs and the exam that they are sitting. Introducing exam-style questions to make their knowledge of the subject applicable to the exam they are sitting. Having an understanding of questions that are likely to come up in exams helps to make exams less stressful and give more time for answer checking. I also go for knowledge and understanding rather than memorising facts. Even though memorising is useful for exams, it does not help for applied questions and anything that might happen after exams. Only understanding the task or problem will help to remember facts. I am being taught the difference between understanding and learning and would like to explore that with you too. All my lessons are recorded and available to you if you want to use them, for both my and your safety and the possibility of revising. I use bramble.io, a tutoring platform.
