About Maria Eduarda
As of right now, I am a College Student at Indiana University. I study Biology, with a focus in the area of Microbiology and Genetics. Furthermore, I also have a minor in Biotechnology and Fashion Design. I am passionate about learning new languages and I have a dream of traveling the world. Currently, I have been working on learning Georgian which requires me to learn a brand new alphabet. It has definitely been a challenge but I am up for it!

Born in Brazil, Sao Paulo, I have grew up speaking Portuguese . Moreover, I am also fluent in Spanish and English. I have been living in the United States for almost two years now and I have had the pleasure of meeting many Latinos and U.S citizen. Having close contact with both non-native languages forced me into improving my speaking, writing, and fluency skills to a level that I would have never obtained by simply reading grammar books and sticking to conventional learning methods. Therefore, I believe that through casual conversations/texting anyone can become fluent in a new language since you are fully emerging yourself in that new context. I will teach you Portuguese, English, and Spanish with no regards to what level you consider yourself to be at the moment, my goal is to take you not only to the level you want to be, but also to where you would never imagine you could reach.
