About Barry
I enjoy teaching, and have taught adults of all ages over my time in HE. I am keen to help students to firmly understand, not just learn, to promote an educated paramedic or health care profession who can draw on their knowledge to make decisions. I have a BSc (Hons) in Genetics and Biochemistry, MSc in Conservation Biology, DipHE Paramedic Science, PGCTHE in Higher Education and final stages of a Doctorate of Education. I am a published researcher in digital literacy development. I can help with academic skills, digital skills, assessment support, interview support, biology, health sciences, and getting the degree classification that you deserve.

I am experienced in teaching adults in a variety of topics.I have mainly taught student paramedics, but am happy to tutor any health subject. I can also help to develop academic and digital skills to support you in your academic studies. I can help with assessment preparation and assignment developent for all subjects. I can direct and support you in using digital tools for learning and assessments. I am also available for adult education in biology, anatomy and physiology, biochemistry. I am happy trying to show you a different approach to learning a subject or for you to bring work or ideas to discuss.
