About Piet
I have taught both at primary school (12 years fulltime) and university level (8 years part time). I have also assisted working adults from government and mining as well as emerging entrepreneurs in honing business, leadership and presentation skills (more than 8 years, part time). I have a D.Phil. degree in the Philosophy of Education (Northwest University); a four-year degree in Philosophy (Free State University) and a post-graduate Bacculareus Educationis Degree (University of South Africa). I have extensive experience in planning and alternative energy. I am South African staying in the central interior and had a wide exposure to rural, small town and city environments. I have a hobbyist interest in literature, economy, history and philosophy. I am the grandfather of five. I must have a daily walk and supplementary exercises.

About the lesson

Lessons will be online through Teams: 30 min sessions
The student will nominate the field in which English tutoring is needed.
We will discuss and agree on subfields and specific challenges in each.
I will listen to the current pronunciation, syntax and word/concept understanding.
At the next session, one week later, I will set out a course of activities for the next three sessions.
After that we will plan the next three sessions.
