I have taught a diverse range of students, from those prepping for college auditions to adults starting from scratch. Each individual receives rigorous instruction tuned to their specific ambitions. MTNA standards form the bedrock of my methodology, helping students succeed in state auditions and Certificate of Merit exams at honors levels.
Your personal goals drive the pace and content of our work together. Building technical proficiency requires patience and a steady hand. My work with students involves refining pedaling technique and developing total hand independence. We also explore jazz improvisation, sight reading, and music theory.
