About Rumesa
I am a dedicated and results-driven tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I have achieved 10 A*s in O Levels and 3 A*s and 1 A in A Levels. I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them effectively.
My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and building strong conceptual understanding. I adapt my methods to suit each student’s learning style, ensuring lessons are engaging, interactive, and easy to follow.
With over three years of experience tutoring international students across various curricula, including British, Australian, American, and Canadian systems, I specialize in simplifying complex topics and boosting students’ confidence in subjects such as Mathematics and Accounting. My lessons are structured, engaging, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then explain topics in a clear and simple way before moving on to guided and independent practice.
Each lesson 60 mins long which includes a recap, focused teaching, and targeted problem-solving. I also incorporate past paper practice, exam techniques, and time management strategies to help students improve accuracy and confidence.
Students are given additional practice to reinforce learning between sessions.
