About Pia
Hello! I am Pia, and I am engineering student in NUS, looking to teach any secondary school students who need help with studying, or understanding certain concepts. I took Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics (4H2s) in JC, and for A-levels I scored 80RP with an A for Math. In secondary school I took pure Physics and Chemistry along with Additional Mathematics. I scored A1 in all 3 Chemistry, A-math and E-math for my O-levels. Mathematics and Chemistry have always been my interests and strengths and I would love to influence other students to have the same love for these subjects as I do. I also want to motivate students by pushing them to their full potential and be self-directed, which is a valuable skill to be learned. I'm looking to get experience in teaching as well as I want to improve on it to give better quality services to my students. I am looking to pursue a degree in engineering in a local university, hoping to grow my skills in STEM.

Lessons will be similar to consultations, and will be dependent on the student's needs. Whatever doubts the student has, they can clarify it with me. My goal is to ensure my lesson style fits each student as each student is different, and I will do my best to make sure they learn in their own ways. In addition, I can suggest alternative study methods and guide them along the way. I can assign them homework to help with their revision and memory recall. Not only do I wish to help with their academics, but I wish to also help by giving tips and strategies for them to be better at studying and acquire studying as a skill.
