About Charlotte
My name is Charlotte and currently I am a nursing student getting my master's degree as well as a minor degree in creative writing. I have five younger siblings ranging from five to fourteen. I began tutoring for English back in middle school and have been tutoring now for six years. I have helped guide many students to not only get an 'A' in their classes but also have a steady foundation to continue on to more complex English classes. If I do become your tutor then I will do my best to understand where you need help and make our lessons as engaging and fun as possible!

As an English tutor, my main focus is to help my students gain confidence when it comes to English and all it entails! My teaching method combines interactive techniques like discussion-based learning, creative writing prompts, and reading comprehension games. A typical lesson would normally include a warm-up activity, a personalized skill-building segment, and a review to reinforce learning. I make sure to tailor each section to fit the students level - whether elementary, middle or high school - by aligning my sessions with their curriculum and individual goals. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students (a product of having 5 siblings!) and adapt my approach to match their learning style, helping them build their skills and confidence!
