About Catherine
As a nursing major at James Madison University, I have come to understand the challenges that come with struggling in a subject that seems to come easily to others. Despite not having a background in English, I have developed a strong sense of determination to push through obstacles and succeed. This mentality has transformed my "just make it through high school" mindset into a mindset of complete success. I am fully aware that writing is a skill that will be utilized throughout one's lifetime, and I am confident in my ability to develop and refine this skill.

As a tutor, I believe in equipping my students with the right tools and resources to help them plan efficiently before writing. My teaching style involves providing worksheets and other helpful aids. I enjoy working with middle and high school students who already possess a basic understanding of the task but require additional guidance and support in planning.
