About Dhrasti
I am a nursing student expected to graduate in May 2025 from Thomas Jefferson University. Ever since I was in high school I have been tutoring kids ranging from ages 4 to 18. Going on year 8 of tutoring, I have realized from years of experience that the most important characteristic a tutor must have is patience. It is important to note that I understand each person learns at a different pace and level and I can cater to all different types of students to make sure they learn the most they can during each session.

Growing up, it took me a long time to find my way of learning so I could explain to my teachers how I wanted to be taught to understand content to the best of my ability. I want to help students be able to find their way of learning as well so they can succeed. I start by providing example problems before starting content so the student can prepare for what to expect. I also use visual and auditory teaching methods so the child gets the best of both worlds! I am always open to altering my way of teaching if a student tells me what they like and don't like about my teaching methods!
