About Katie-ann
I’m a third-year nursing student in the Niagara region with a DELF certification (2023) and over two years of tutoring experience. I’ve taught a variety of elementary subjects and have received the Niagara Region Youth Impact Award in 2021. I also bring 10 years of piano experience, adding creativity and discipline to my teaching approach.
I am patient, encouraging, confident, and approachable. My teaching style is interactive, structured, and creative, and I tailor each lesson to the individual needs of the student — no one-size-fits-all here! I love helping students build confidence, stay engaged, and succeed academically. I am open to working with any student, but I particularly enjoy helping elementary-aged learners develop strong foundational skills across subjects like French, math, science, English, and music.
