As a student that struggled for many years finding an affective way to study, I understand that not all students grasp concepts the same way. I believe that's it's important to cater to each students needs, ensuring that they at least understand something they may have not by the end of the session. It's also important that students are able to relate their material to other concepts within the unit, as all information are usually related. Having students create their own diagram or pathway of information can show them how to properly take useful notes while also training them to find key concepts.
