About Wendy
I am a Masters Prepared Registered Nurse with 40 years of diversified nursing experience. I hold several certifications: Critical Care Nurse (CCRN-K), Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and a certificate in Legal Nurse Documentation. I am also a Certified American Heart Association Instructor, certified in Dysrhythmia Interpretation, Intravenous medication, and Oncology nursing.
I have exceptional analytical, critical thinking and communication abilities evidenced by my work history, most recent being a Nursing Professor. I present locally and within the tri -state area on many nursing-related topics to nursing students, nurses and to the community.
My passion is teaching Test Taking Strategies related to all types of Nursing Exams. I enjoy assisting students attain their goals and develop deeper and more clever ways of thinking.

My methodology is based on the individual or group. I use different resources and teaching strategies that include but are not limited to: concept based learning active/creative connection techniques , technology programs test bank questions, handouts, videos and more.
I give continuous support in person, on the phone and via text......... which creates a comfort between the student and myself. Students also report a decrease in anxiety,
