About Katrina

Need help understanding nursing concepts, building clinical confidence, or preparing for your OSCE/OSCA? I’m here to help.

I’m a Registered Nurse and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator with extensive clinical experience across emergency, acute, rural, remote, and community nursing settings. I have also been involved in Nursing OSCE/OSCA assessments, giving me valuable insight into what students need to demonstrate in practical assessments.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised, interactive, and focused on building your confidence as a nursing student. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to your individual needs, level, and goals.

Whether you need help understanding a difficult nursing concept, preparing for an OSCE/OSCA, improving your clinical skills, working through case studies, or getting ready for an exam, I will guide you step-by-step in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Rather than simply giving you the answers, I focus on helping you understand the “why” behind nursing practice and develop your clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.

During our sessions, we can work through:

- Nursing theory and difficult concepts
- 🩺 Clinical skills and procedures
- OSCE/OSCA stations and practice
- Exam and assessment preparation
- Emergency and acute nursing scenarios
- Clinical reasoning and prioritisation
- Case studies and patient scenarios
- Questions you may encounter in clinical placement

Each lesson is at least 60 minutes and can be adapted to your learning needs. You can come to the lesson with a specific topic or assessment you are struggling with, and we can work through it together.

My goal is to make nursing concepts clear, practical, and easier to understand, while helping you become more confident in your knowledge, skills, and clinical decision-making.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, preparing for an assessment, or simply want extra support, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
