About Chrysovalantis
I am a physicist and educator with a PhD in Physics from the University of Notre Dame. I have taught at university level as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the United States, worked with Edexcel AS and A Level students at the International School of Paphos in Cyprus, and supported learners from secondary school through to graduate level. Outside formal teaching, I run a YouTube channel called @Doctor_No_ where I work through full Edexcel past papers live on an iPad, and the response from students has been genuinely encouraging.
I care about helping students build real understanding and confidence, not just get through an exam, though I am very good at helping with that too. Whether your goal is exam success, university admission, or simply understanding physics properly, I will meet you where you are.

My lessons are clear, structured, and built around you. I work on an iPad with a camera and microphone setup, the same one I use on my YouTube channel, so the experience is clean, visual, and easy to follow. I write everything out as we go, just like a one-on-one tutorial, and I adapt to your pace and level throughout.
I cover GCSE, AS and A Level, and university physics, including mechanics, electromagnetism, waves, thermodynamics, nuclear physics, and mathematical methods. I have taught these topics formally in classrooms and lecture halls, and informally in private lessons since my graduate student days at Notre Dame. Some of the students I have tutored went on to Cambridge, UCL, King's College London, Yale, and Notre Dame.
In a first lesson I will usually spend time understanding where you are, what is causing difficulty, and what your goals are. From there we build a plan together.
