About William
I am a retired STEM professional with several careers including:
- Biology: MIT BS; research at Ohio State & Dalhousie
- Computer Science: Carnegie Mellon instructor; Guelph MSc; U of Toronto PhD student, teacher, & student advisor; IBM research
I achieved 800s in the SAT math section and advanced math achievement test as a high school student and often helped my classmates. I was a mathematics major at MIT until I switched to biology.
I am certified as a life coach and thus able to guide people to achieve goals, success, and fulfillment in life, including students.

- Homework help is provided with a mind toward understanding the principles, foundations, and methodologies sufficient to independently handle the material and problems.
- Progress is tracked.
- The longer term goals, e.g., next grade level, further schooling, or career orientation are kept in mind.
