About Thomas

After graduating from university and working in the education sector for almost three years, I completed Post Graduate Certificate in SEN Coordination. Following this I did my PGCE at UCL and I am now working as a science teacher at a sixth form in East London

I have energy, passion and enthusiasm for teaching. This is stimulated by my enjoyment of working with children and gaining insight into their perspectives and how they see the world. I love the idea of playing an active role in a child's development and I gain fulfilment in being able to help children to learn and discover new ideas about their world. The idea of witnessing a child develop and grow throughout their school years and seeing their improvement provides me with great satisfaction.

About the lesson

It’s imperative to build lesson plans around activities that all students can feel comfortable with and relate to.

Using a task based approach students will isolated individual skills and competencies in order to learn materials they actually need to know to meet their goals and objectives.
