About Suné
I am a passionate, young, and energetic person. I always excelled with my languages at school and I have a deep love for the correct use of language. I believe that the interpretation, understanding & use of language is the building blocks to any civilization.
I always put professionalism first, ensuring that I give all my learners the very best education that they deserve. I believe that mutual respect between an educator & learner will allow the learner to reap all the benefits of that specific learning area.
I graduated from high school with 5 distinctions. Thereafter I went to university, where I studied & graduated at the North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus). Immediately after I graduated, I started teaching. I now have 3 years of teaching experience behind me, working first in a English Home Language school, and then in a school where English was the second language. I believe this gives me the unique ability to understand & properly educate learners with backgrounds of both someone whose home language is English, and someone whose second language is English.
I also understand that some concepts can be more difficult to grasp than others & therefore I want to assure you, that I will never leave you not understanding something & feeling lost. My aim is to help you fully understand every single concept without any difficulty.

I can promise that you will have the time of your life with my lessons. I always try to diversify as much as possible, including songs, video's, social media & other resources to give you an entertaining lesson every time.
I am fluent in both Afrikaans & English.
I usually start my lessons with some background information, to make you feel more comfortable with the content. After that, I will go into explaining the content of the day's lesson. I like to present 2/3 examples to better demonstrate. Before you do any of the work on your own, I prefer to do a few examples with you just to make sure you know what is expected.
I can teach English from the ages 8 & up. I expect a learner that has a basic knowledge of the English language, but more importantly, a passion for wanting to learn more.
