About Utkarsha

My teaching is backed by years of rigorous training in the North Indian (Hindustani) Vocal tradition. I have dedicated my life to mastering the nuances of Indian Classical music, and my goal is to pass on this heritage with the same precision and passion with which it was taught to me. As a tutor, I maintain a high standard of professionalism and consistency. I understand that every student’s voice is unique; therefore, I act not just as a teacher, but as a vocal coach who monitors your progress, tracks your vocal health, and ensures that you are reaching your personal milestones. About the lesson

60-minute class. Teaching includes working on voice, breath, Swar and Taal (pitch perfection and rhythm patterns), Raga improvisation. Teaching is not limited to just classical, but also customized to include semi-classical music, songs in different Indian languages, such as bhajans, natyasangeet. Open to ages 8 and up. No prior background is needed. Everyone can sing if you have the right approach, guidance, and willingness to understand and practice. If this resonates with you, you can enroll.
