About Mirza Amsaar Ahmed

I have industry experience developing AI and software solutions in real-world environments, including work within the NHS, where I helped develop a machine-learning system for prostate cancer diagnosis and tumour staging in collaboration with clinical professionals.

Over the years, I have also worked on AI consulting and enterprise technology programmes, alongside developing my own SaaS products and AI-powered systems. My experience includes RAG and knowledge-assistant systems, full-stack application development, APIs, LLM's, embedding models, databases, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, networking, security and deployment.

At university, I was selected as a Digital Mentor, helping others develop their digital and technical skills, and I received a Dean’s Award for top 1% academic performance.

I also hold seven professional certifications across cloud computing, cybersecurity and networking:

Google Cloud Digital Leader, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Security Specialty, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.

This combination of hands-on AI development, software engineering, infrastructure and security means I can help you understand how to take an idea and engineer the complete product around the AI — from architecture and backend logic to databases, cloud infrastructure, security and deployment.

My focus is on helping you understand what is technically possible, what is worth building, how the different components fit together, and how to turn an AI concept into a usable real-world product.

About the lesson

These lessons teach you how to take an idea for an AI-powered product or solution from initial technical validation through to a working, deployable system.

They are suitable for professionals who want to introduce AI into their workplace, founders building an AI-enabled product or business, and technical or semi-technical learners who want to understand how complete AI systems are actually engineered.

We can work through the full technology stack behind an AI-powered application, including:

• Idea validation and technical feasibility: deciding what should actually use AI, what should remain deterministic, and whether an idea is technically realistic.
• AI architecture — LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, agents and integrating models into larger applications.
• Backend development — Python, APIs, application logic, authentication and integrations.
• Data and databases — SQL, relational databases, data pipelines and designing data structures for your application.
• Front-end and web technologies — HTML and the components required to turn the underlying system into something users can actually interact with.
• Infrastructure and deployment — cloud services, containers, networking, security, scaling and taking a project from a development environment into production.
• Product engineering — architecture choices, build-vs-buy decisions, costs, reliability and how the different parts of a real software product fit together.

Lessons can be adapted to your level. You do not need to begin as a professional software engineer: we can start with the concepts and progressively develop the technical knowledge needed to understand and build your solution.

If you already have an idea or project, we can use it throughout the lessons so that you learn these concepts by designing and building something relevant to your actual work or business.
