About Ma
I am currently a first year Medicine international student in the University of Newcastle. I came from Singapore and I scored AAABB for my GCSE A Levels, with As for Biology and Economics.
I have given tutoring to friends before and also have experience in volunteering at hospitals and a childcare tutoring centre before and I'd like to think I'm a people person and I really genuinely enjoy helping other people!

I am able to break down topics that are hard to understand by focusing on making students grasp the concept, with every step leading to another. I like to do this on my own learning so that there is a clear flow that can be easily understood and followed, and is better than hard memorising.
I also try to focus more on testable material and am able to prioritise topics, and help the student get on track with what exactly he/she needs to understand to score well.

- I don't have a cancellation policy, but please be reasonable! I will likely have to stop teaching your child if I get cancelled too many times
- I don't have a car, and I do most of my transport by bus or by bicycle. Please, do inform me early on (at least 1 hour) if you plan to cancel the lesson!
