I know how hard it is to pick up an instrument. We all start somewhere and many moons ago I was a beginner too. I believe that playing music is more than just playing black notes on white pages. It's about finding your identity as a musician and being able to convey that in your music no matter what level you are at. My study involves building strong musicianship through building up violin technique and music theory skills from the ground up while implementing Suzuki method. There is no set rep that you need to play for your first lesson, but if you do have a piece or scale prepared it is recommended that you showcase your skills so that I know where we can start.
