About Lauren
I am a master student majoring in English and new media studies which is about game narrative storytelling, linguistic analysis under digital platforms. when I was studying my bachelor's degree in China, I helped the Chinese teachers and foreign teachers in Little London English School to do some teaching assistant work during the summer vacations. I am mainly responsible for organizing extracurricular activities, solving English problems, correcting test papers. During my studies in New Zealand, I also had experience in tutoring NCEA English writing for local high school students, mainly including proofreading English essays and help them improve their English comprehension of various literary materials (poems, novels). All the students love the lessons I gave to them and they all had such a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

My teaching method is playing while learning. Based on my lessons, I first explain the concept and learning points through discourse analysis and then keep practicing this in class. So the students can quickly absorb the knowledge and then put it to use under an enjoyable circumstance and students will definitely have fun.
