About Ayva
I am a neuroscience and psychology student at Ursinus College with Dean's list honors. I have a passion for working with children and am currently earning my degree to become a clinical child psychologist. I have taught children at a music school for two years now and am looking to expand to academic tutoring.

My ideal student is someone ages 8 through 16 looking for help in math, science, and English/language arts. My teaching style is warm, encouraging, patient, and engaging. I approach homework help by not only addressing the problems at hand, but by breaking down larger concepts taught in class to a digestible form tailored to each student's unique learning style. In addition to helping the student complete homework, I will design practice problems and study with them to prepare for tests. After a few sessions, your child will feel confident in themselves and the material they are learning.
