About Amit

Hello! I’m Amit Sharma, a Physics tutor with a deep passion for teaching and learning. I hold a B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. in Physics, have qualified the CSIR-UGC NET with JRF, and cleared the GATE Physics exam twice. I’ve also been a Research Scholar at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, where I explored advanced areas of astrophysics and cosmology. Physics has always fascinated me — it’s the language through which we understand how the universe works. Over the years, this fascination has grown into a desire to help students discover the same joy and clarity in learning Physics that I experienced. I’ve taught students across various levels, from school to postgraduate, and guided many preparing for competitive exams like IIT-JEE, NEET, NET, and GATE. My goal is to make Physics logical, engaging, and easy to understand by focusing on concepts rather than rote learning. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge, inspire curiosity, and help students realize that Physics isn’t difficult — it’s beautiful when understood the right way.

I’ve also worked as a Research Scholar at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, where I gained hands-on experience in advanced areas of Physics and scientific research. My journey with Physics began with a deep curiosity about how the universe works — from subatomic particles to galaxies. Over time, this curiosity evolved into a desire to help students see Physics as more than just equations — as a way to understand and appreciate nature. I have several years of teaching experience, mentoring students from school to postgraduate level. My teaching focuses on conceptual clarity, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, ensuring that students not only learn but truly understand. I believe in an interactive, adaptive, and student-centered approach. Each learner is unique, so I use a blend of visual aids, real-world examples, and structured practice to make Physics engaging and intuitive. My goal is to build both confidence and curiosity, helping students overcome fear of the subject and achieve outstanding results.
