About Laura
I was the Director of Communications for a company before I got my Master's in teaching and changed careers. My passion is teaching children and reaching every single child, no matter what obstacle is in the way. I see the whole child, not just the academics, including social/emotional needs and physical needs. This is why I got certified in SPED, ESOL, and Orton-Gillingham. This is why my classroom has always had many different students and learning needs!

Do you want to learn in an engaging, hands-on learning environment? I teach using a variety of multi-sensory strategies so I can reach each individual child. I will provide support where needed, including guided notes, examples, and catchy ways to remember the content. I make real-life connections to the curriculum and will help each child to be successful and in control of their own learning.
