About J Terry
Teaching, and teaching Mathematics in particular, is my calling. It has never been a job or career. Although I have three degrees in Mathematics and have taught since the 70's, I just can't given it up. I also have lots of training in engineering and, in fact, have worked for NASA as a Senior Aerospace Engineer. Believing that I should also give back to the community, I have been the co-director in numerous LSAMP, Eisenhower, and NSA grants, helping K-12 teachers to understand Mathematics and appropriate technology.

Over the years, I have developed notes for most of the topics I teach. They are available to my students in PDF form - no charge.
I have used and revised these notes, sometimes supplementing them for a particular class. I also use a FREE graphing program in order to visualize the topics as appropriate. Please let me know what you think.
