I have had 10+ years working in the education system both in local and international schools. Working with administrators, parents, and tutors to give my students the best opportunity to succeed. Writing can feel boring or overwhelming. However, I naturally add silliness and lightheartedness to counter any frustration. An assignment can look big and formidable, but once we break it into smaller steps, it will seem doable and even sometimes fun. I encouraged my students to add as much of their life into their writing as possible, making each assignment more relatable and enjoyable to create. There will be times of laughter, taking deep breaths, and 5 min breaks to refocus. I strongly believe our lessons should be filled with positivity and encouragement.
