About Teryn

I’m entering the final year of my Bachelor of Science with honors in biochemistry at the University of Alberta. I’ve always had a passion for teaching others in the subject areas I love. I struggled in my first year of my degree, so I had to learn methods to manage a heavy science workload and find better ways to study. I would love to pass that knowledge down to high school students who feel overwhelmed with biology or chemistry 20-30, or first or second-year university students who are struggling with their bio, chem, anatomy, or biochem classes. I’m a friendly and understanding girl who will get to know what methods will work best for you. I want to help you with more than just grades—let’s figure out a study-life balance, stress management, and organization skills that will help you in all your future studies.

About the lesson

We can work together to find methods that actually help you understand concepts, not generalized textbook solutions. I’ll help you make study plans and guides and give you methods to study efficiently and effectively. I can also help you manage a heavy workload and balance student life with methods I’ve worked out over my degree. Let me help you break down your learning into bite sized pieces, and help you manage and understand classes that can feel overwhelming.
